A New Look for PL&B

I have a confession to make...

I couldn't make the switch to Wordpress.

I did sign up and try out a few things, but I came to the conclusion that I can get what I want out of blogger and I didn't want to lose all my links and potentially some readers by making the switch.

In the end, I designed a new header (thank you fotoflexer.com) and revamped a couple of things. It's not perfect, but it's all mine and I love it!

Oh, and one more thing... Peace, Love & Bagels can now be found at http://www.peacelovebagels.com!!! I am officially free of that silly .blogspot suffix! Peace, Love & Bagels is growing up!!

Tell me, what do you think of the new look? Any suggestions/constructive criticism? Am I a complete doof for not being able to switch to Wordpress?

Blog Updates!

Howdy folks! I wanted to catch you guys up on some happenings in the world of Peace, Love and Bagels. I've been toying with the idea of switching from Blogger to Wordpress for a while now but have been terrified to actually make the switch. I don't know much about Wordpress but I'm hitting the walls with what blogger is capable of.

Now recently, my comments program hasn't been working and I've kind of had it with Blogger.

So here's the plan:

I'm going to take the next couple of days to sort out my blog situation. I'll check back in when I have made the switch to Wordpress and I will (hopefully) be using my own domain name!

Please bear with me while I try to make these changes happen with the least possible pain and loss of blogger stuff. I assume I'll be losing many of my great comments, which I'm pretty sad about. I also am not technically savvy enough to figure out how to make all my links work correctly and not route back to blogger. I'm also not sure how to get all my blogger posts to link to wordpress, but I'm going to do my best to work through all these issues and come back with a Peace, Love & Bagels that is bigger and better than ever!!
